Task
The wonderful people at Manscaped reached out to us to create fully 3D video and feature images assets for the launch of two of their new electric razors - the Lawnmower 3 Plus and the Lawnmower 4 Pro. Each video needed to be distinct and represent the type of buyer for each razor - the LM03 being the more “every man” product, while the LM04 razor being the more premium product.
Our Approach
We began immediately by creating style frames that spoke to each of the products with a heavy emphasis on establishing the right environments. We chose a more rugged, wild scene for the LM03 and a sleeker, refined museum space for the LM04 video. We then began to craft individual scenes to highlight the various features of each razor all while showing the quality of the product's design and incorporating several humorous moments as well. We then chose specific moments in each video to submit as our feature images.
